Church Streets Winter Wonderland
The Church Street Christmas Lights Switch-On took place on Thursday 26th November in a vibrant ceremony hosted by Church Street Neighbourhood Management. Part of Church Street was transformed into a 'Winter Wonderland', bubbling with activity and entertainment from The Sylvia Young Theatre School Choir and Tanya Nyari's Oliver Cabaret.
Santa Claus arrived in fantastic time to give presents from his grotto rather than his usual fashion of sliding down chimneys. His excuse was he couldn't find many chimneys in Church Street! Lucky for us - we used the opportunity to take photos with lucky children who came along to the event.
